Specializing in Accelerated Healing & Pain Management
Hypnotherapy uses the
natural phenomenon of hypnosis for therapeutic purposes. Hypnotherapy has been
proven effective for eliminating fears and phobias; breaking harmful habits; improving confidence; removing blocks; curing insomnia; reducing
stress and stress-related illnesses; managing chronic pain; promoting healing;
and replacing anesthesia in childbirth and surgical
procedures. This list is not exhaustive; hypnotherapy has many, many applications.
Clinical hypnotherapy, also called medical hypnotherapy, is the use of hypnotherapy for health purposes. The most common of these is eliminating pain during and after childbirth or surgery or in chronic conditions. Clinical hypnotherapy is also used to promote healing pre- and post-surgery, accelerate healing of illnesses or fractures, manage side effects of medicine and medical treatments (such as insomnia and nausea), and treat chronic conditions that have no physical cause or that are not responding to medicine and medical treatments.
Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) is an interpersonal communication process that may be used alone or combined with hypnosis depending on the purpose and the practioner's preference and training. At Tokyo Hypnotherapy, NLP is always offered in combination with hypnosis and is used as required to meet the client's needs.
